I have come to this location to patch a tire twice now. The first time they took forever and then finally called to say they couldn't find the leak. I said there for sure is a leak so they kept looking and then called later to say it was patched. Came back a few months later for the same issue and a couple hours after they told me to expect it to be done i called because i hadnt heard anything and again they said they were having trouble finding the leak. So i went to Rim 2 Rim instead and received great service, they quickly found the leak and patched it no problem. My husband ordered winter tires online from Can tire that gave him the expected delivery date of a week later. Two weeks go by with no call or explanation so he calls them and they're rude on the phone about it and still have no explanation or expected arrival date. It ended up being almost a month before they called to say they arrived and could schedule the install. Ended up getting a refund after the frustration along with seeing the numerous bad reviews on google. THE TIRE DEPARTMENT SUCKS AND WE WILL NOT BE WASTING OUR TIME HERE AGAIN.

Bought new winter tires here. Price was alright, but the service was terrible. Had to come back because the low tire indicator would not go off. I know my car. When the tires are properly inflated, the indicator goes off after a minute or so of driving. Front desk insisted I had to keep driving around. They wouldn't listen... finally Gave them the benefit of the doubt and drove all day, low tire indicator did not go off. Mechanic there said same thing... he took my car for a drive... was gone for half an hour for sure. Indicator was STILL on - "you have to drive it more..." I gave up. Went to Costco garage. They checked my tires and looked inside my door and on a computer. "Your tires are low". They topped off the pressure no charge. Indicator went off after about a minute of driving.

I love Cdn Tire, but this one struggles as it's not as large as many of the chain's other stores are and it's tough to try and still carry so much merchandise. It's very difficult to find certain things and there is too much of a mish-mash of products outside of the main aisles. Sometimes the staff are excellent at knowing exactly where something is and guiding you to it and sometimes they are useless. There is also FAR too many times that only one till is open, even though the store is busy.

It has been a while since I set foot in this Canadian Tire store and my experience so memorable that It just needs to be shared......After taking in our truck for evaluation and asking them to fix whatever was wrong, we received a diagnosis of a cylinder misfire...as mentioned above I asked them to fix it...I was advised (after receiving a hefty diagnosis invoice) that they could not fix the truck. Then when asked why such a hefty bill, was informed that the diagnosis machine had to be paid for somehow.....My wife then proceeded to ask, if the shop had mechanics licensed and trained to complete the diagnosed work...(a legitimate question, since a diagnosis was completed, and we were advised of the problem that they could not repair), to which the service manager now asked my wife “Do you sew?” I don’t think we could have received a more sexist response. The service manager was then advised the we would never set foot in the store again......This store at the time was disorganized and poorly managed. I would drive from Okotoks to the Dalhousie store in Northwest Calgary to avoid this Canadian Tire.....But we can usually find what we are looking for at a competitors store.

Same weekend... asked them to keep my BEST tire which I selected myself and asked them to put it on my spare. The spare that was already on had a big rusty screw in it which I showed mechanic. After about an hour in the store while I waited, they told me all done and I paid for it. After further inspection, the tire with the rusty screw was still ON as my spare (tire was just rotated on the spare mount so screw was now at the bottom instead of the top.) ... and they threw away the tire I had put aside as best old tire that they were supposed to put on as the spare.

Never again. I like the store, but not the garage. Costco from now on.

Terrible store. If I didn't have any other Canadian Tire stores to compare it to then I guess I wouldn't know that they can be so much better in so many different ways. It's small, dingy, and poorly laid out. Today I was in shopping, had picked out some stuff and started looking for a certain item. It was obvious I was not finding it. I walked by 2 staff who were chit chatting and paid no interest to me. A 3rd made eye contact with me from the end of an isle and looked scared that I may actually ask something and quickly turned around and darted around a corner. The one staff who I was able to yell my question to before he could hide appeared annoyed that he couldn't get away. He stated that I would need to order what I was looking for before I even finished describing what I was looking for. In the end I pushed my half full cart to the side and left with no intentions of returning. I used to treat Canadian Tire as my go-to place for just about everything, until I visited this one several times, receiving no service, not finding what I am looking for, and leaving pi%^*% off.
