  My husband and I went into the Home Depot in Okotoks on 6/24/17 to buy a washer and dryer. We decided on an LG model that with the extended warranty was nearly $3000.00. The saleswoman told us the first delivery date available was 7/4/17 because of Canada Day. We said OK. We got a call the night before indicating the delivery would be made between 11am and 3 pm. My husband was at home waiting for the delivery. I got a call from a heavily accented gentleman asking me for directions. I gave him directions and also gave him my husband's phone number. I called him back to be sure he had the right number. He told me we were next on the list. My husband called the dispatch and was told the same thing. After waiting all day, they did not come and they did not call. The next day I called the number for scheduling and was told the delivery was cancelled because they called us and got no answer which was a lie. We had been waiting all day. We were told it could not be rescheduled until two days later. Before the second delivery I called home depot in Okotoks to make sure the delivery people would hook up a gas dryer and were assured by the woman in appliances that they would. When the boys brought the appliances they said we should have been sold a gas appliance hook up package and hoses for the washer. Neither had been mentioned by the salesperson. My husband went down to home depot and spoke with the Assistant manager for appliances who told him that the saleslady was new and should have sold us this stuff and should have scheduled a dryer hookup. He phoned the gas people and gave us the dryer hook up fee of 168.00 for our trouble. He said the dryer people would contact us the next day. The next day we heard nothing from the gas people. Later in the day I phoned the manager who said the saleswoman should have gotten back to us on it. He said he would go right away and get her to call me. As she did not call I called her and she said she was on the phone with the gas people and would call me right back. She still has not called !!! The next day I went down to home depot and spoke with the manager on duty. The gas hook up was still not scheduled; and when she contacted the company they said someone would call me Monday to schedule the hook up for "sometime next week". I told the manager I wanted a refund of the 168.00 and I would buy the parts myself and hire somebody else to hook it up. She signed off on the refund. I went to the dryer parts dept. and was sold the part for the hook up for an LG gas dryer. Today, Monday, when the guy I hired to hook it up came, Home Depot had sold me the wrong part!!! So here it is 17 days after purchasing a 1500.00 dryer from Home Depot and I still can't dry my clothes. Trust Me, GO TO SEARS

  Was helped today by Jason in the flooring department. We are having trouble with an RV dealership re: floors and Jason helped us immensely!! He was extremely knowledgeable and experienced and helped us feel MUCH more prepared for our case. He spent a long time hashing out numbers and running through the pro's and cons of materials with us.. and simply has a wonderful spirit! Thanks for the help, Jason!

  We also had a NIGHTMARE washer and dryer experience -delivery services were awful!! It’s been over 2 weeks, I’m still without a washer and dryer.. long story short -we went in today and got a refund. Worst Home Depot experience ever -we will NEVER buy appliances from them again
